The Texas Ranger Association Foundation works to support our active Texas Rangers by providing scholarships to the children of active duty Rangers who plan to attend or are attending colleges, universities or accredited trade schools. The scholarship program was established in 1988 to defray the burden of costs associated with higher education.
Since its inception in 1988, TRAF has awarded over 1,600 scholarships totaling over $2.5 million.
The Texas Ranger Association Foundation is committed to providing emergency relief and assistance to active and retired Texas Rangers and their immediate family members. This relief effort also expands to spouses and dependents of deceased Texas Rangers.
Since 2005, TRAF has given over $525,000 to Texas Rangers for emergency relief and assistance.
